Niki is the Artistic Director of New Adelphi Theatre, based at The University of Salford, UK. She is also an associate artist with Blast Theory who make interactive art that places the public at the centre of an experience, as a way to explore social and political questions. She is a board member of international theatre company, Reckless Sleepers and the interactive and site-based company, Hydrocracker. Niki co-edited, with Dr Tracy Crossley, an online book for Digital Theatre Plus: Postdramatic Theatre: A Handbook of Devising Exercises. The handbook compiles of exercises from contemporary British and trans-European theatre companies and practitioners for tutors teaching postdramatic practice and for students and theatre-makers devising their own performance work.
