NEXUS is a large-scale multidisciplinary performance that brings together aerial ballet, live electronic music and immersive visual design. Created for outdoor and public spaces, the piece transforms urban environments into spectacular stage landscapes, where suspended dancers interact with musicians, light, lasers and the surrounding architecture.
Developed through a collaboration between Zenit Aerial Ballet from Alicante, Spain, and Collectif Arbuste from Marseille, France, NEXUS explores the tension between opposing forces: desire and restraint, ambition and vulnerability, earth and air, progress and transformation. The use of vertical space becomes both a physical and symbolic element, suggesting aspiration, risk and the human need to overcome limits.
With its strong visual impact, adaptable format and emotional accessibility, NEXUS is designed for festivals, large-scale events and diverse audiences. Its combination of dance, contemporary acrobatics, electronic sound and digital scenography gives the project a distinctive international appeal, making it highly relevant for performing arts markets such as SIPAM.
