Maidens (permanent revelry) is a choreographic fantasy built around the musical universe of Ramón Montoya (1879-1949) with a nod to Federico García Lorca’s poem Guitar Riddle from his book Poem of the Deep Song.
It summons revelry as a multifaceted, contradictory and vibrant realm: not only does it celebrate fun, but it also delves into its excesses, its voids and its mishaps. A wild celebration of the desire to come together, let go and keep dancing on the edge of the impossible.
