Charlie is a professionally trained contemporary dancer (BA, MA) from the North of England who began exploring prop manipulation in 2022. His artistic practice focuses on fusing contemporary movement with object manipulation.
He has performed with renowned companies such as Phoenix Dance Theatre, and worked with acclaimed choreographers including Holly Blakey, Darshan Singh Bhuller, and Lost Dog Dance. Since branching into solo and collaborative work, Charlie has created a range of short pieces—from fire performance solos to structured, improvised dance works.
He is currently developing his latest piece, Pleaux, which explores ritual, obsession, and the evolving relationship between a man and two objects: the acro staff and the cane. ORGANIZATION/STRUCTURE: Independent Artist
