Meet the Jury – SIPAM 2025

We are delighted to welcome Vicențiu Rahău, Curator & Coordinator of Indoor Events at the Sibiu International Theatre Festival (FITS), as a member of this year’s SIPAM jury.
Vicențiu Rahău brings over a decade of experience in curating and coordinating large-scale international performing arts events. Since 2012, he has shaped the indoor programming of FITS—one of Europe’s most dynamic festivals—and since 2015, has served as Artistic Consultant to the “Radu Stanca” National Theatre in Sibiu. In 2022, he also became Coordinator of the theatre’s digital platform, www.scena-digitala.ro, expanding its reach and accessibility to global audiences.
With academic roots in philosophy (Istituto Aloisianum, Padua) and theatre studies (University of Lyon 2), Vicențiu completed a PhD in Theatre and Performing Arts in 2018, with a thesis on cultural management and community development through FITS. He is also a lecturer at the “Lucian Blaga” University of Sibiu, where he mentors future professionals in drama and theatre studies.
His profile uniquely blends theoretical depth, curatorial rigor, and digital innovation—making him a key contributor to the evolving performing arts landscape in Romania and beyond.
